Our local church fellowship has been blessed to have Rusty Leyden minister in music twice now at our monthly Christian Coffee house. At this last performance Rusty's son Michael joined him in ministry and proved to be a great blessing as well. Some of the comments I received at this last performance were, "This is wonderful" and "This is what a Christian Coffee House is all about!" I think one of the things that impressed my people so much was the sincerity and transparency of Rusty's style of ministry. His genuine love for the Lord comes through in every song he plays. My people were also impressed with the variety of gospel music Rusty was able to share. He broke up his music into sets ranging from contemporary Christian to great well-known hymns and added many original songs, whose words and music really touched this audience and even brought some to tears. I highly recommend Rusty to any venue where lifting up Jesus is the primary focus.
